Ballingarry Castle
An acre of land within its walls. Passed from Kennedy ownership in 1635. Wall with dovecotes standing today.
Ballycapple Castle
Kennedys associated with Ballycapple from 1431 to 1640’s.
Ballycolliton Castle
Built in 1434, location of battle in 1598, Rory Kennedy owner in 1641.
Ballfinboy Castle
One wall collapsed in storms of 2015 exposing beautiful stone work of internal arches. Philip Kennedy transplanted to Connacht in 1657.
Castletown Castle
Drominagh Castle
Built by O Maddens but passed into Kennedy ownership. A staircase leading to the top can be seen within the ruined walls.

Dermot O Kennedy of Knigh mentioned as Chief of the nation in 1546. John Kennedy transplanted to Connacht in 1656.

Lackeen Castle
The most modern and finest of O Kennedy castles. Owned by O Kennedys from 1336 up to 1766 despite Donogh Kennedy being transplanted to Connacht in 1655. Stowe Missal found within its walls by John Kennedy in the 17th century.
Lisquillabeen Castle
Also known as Tullaun Castle. Has been lovingly restored by its present owners who now reside there.
Nenagh Castle
Built by the Norman Butler family around 1200. Taken from the Butlers in 1347 by Donal O Kennedy and held by the Kennedys for almost 200 years.
